How Higher Rates Can Help You Grow As A Barber.

Starting off with lower prices is a great way to grow your clientele and practice as a new barber, however there comes a time when it halts your progress. Here’s why…

Low prices tend not to attract your dream clientele, and it opens the way for disrespect.

This tends to happen because the clients think you want them more than they want you, which in turn leads to many no-show clients and late-cancellation clients.

When friends would advertise my name, people would often ask them, “so why is he so cheap?, he must be bad.”

Since upping my price, I’ve had fewer no-shows, not a single person questioning my skill (that I’m aware of anyways), and greater growth.

If your prices are low, re-analyse your situation; do you have the same issues I had? If so, maybe a price increase is what you need.
